CF Education at Your School
Having a child with cystic fibrosis (CF) in your class is very manageable with a few simple considerations. Through open communication with parents and carers, staff education, practical planning and a supportive school environment, students with CF can fully participate in classroom learning, sport, excursions and all aspects of school life.

eLearning Modules
Our free e-learning modules cover a range of topics related to CF, including practical advice for supporting your student with CF at both school and day care.
Core Module
Our core module covers a wide range of general topics and advice about CF. For most educators, this module will provide a broad overview of your students’ needs and how you can best support them.
In this module you will learn:
- About CF and how it affects the body
- CF management and treatment at school/daycare
- Nutrition, physical activity and other considerations
- Infection prevention and cross infection
This module will take approximately 20 minutes to comeplte.
On completion, you will receive a PD certificate recognising your achievement.
